This post is part of my ‘Stories Behind the Business’ series, where I share what goes on behind the scenes here at QuoteForYourNote. If you’re curious how I write, serve, and connect with real people—not just algorithms—this one’s for you.
When I started QuoteForYourNote.com, I made a personal decision about the kind of content I would share. I didn’t want to just “publish for Google.” I wanted to create something real—something helpful for everyday people who hold real estate notes and don’t always know what to do with them.
So let me tell you how I write every blog post you see here. This is how I make sure you can trust what you read—and maybe even find some peace of mind in the process.

Step 1: I Write the First Draft Myself (From Real Experience in Live Zoom Calls)
Every article begins with me sitting down and reflecting on real conversations—especially from live Zoom calls with note holders. These aren’t just made-up examples or filler content. They’re based on what real people have asked me, what they’ve shared, and where they’re looking for guidance. Then I just start writing.
It might be a little messy at first, but it’s real.
If I’m talking about “how to sell a note,” I’m not repeating what you find on big investor websites. I’m sharing what I’ve seen happen—how the process actually works, what surprises people, and what I wish every note holder knew.
That’s what I mean by human first.
Step 2: Then I Let AI Help Me Polish It Up
Once I’ve written the first draft, I use a writing assistant (like Wealthy Affiliate’s Article Authority tool) to help me refine it. (Take Note here that I said “Tool”)—it’s not a replacement for thought, strategy, or human heart. I also use it as a brainstorming partner, exploring new ideas on how to reach the people who truly need my help—note holders who may be stressed, stuck, or simply unsure what their options are. These tools help spark fresh ways to connect with those who need someone to listen, not just sell..
Here’s what AI helps me do:
- Catch grammar mistakes
- Improve sentence structure
- Suggest better headlines or subheadings
- Reorganize sections for better flow
But here’s the key: I don’t let AI write the whole post. I don’t believe in handing over the wheel. I just let AI help me drive smoother.
Everything still sounds like me—because it is me.
Step 3: Final Review Before Publishing
Before any article goes live on this blog, I go through a checklist:
- Did I speak clearly and truthfully?
- Did I include examples from real situations?
- Did I use keywords the way a human would (not a robot)?
- Did I offer something you can actually use?
If I can say yes to all of those, then it’s ready.
I might even bold a few key sentences or break up the text so it’s easier to read. I want every post to feel like we’re having a friendly conversation—not a lecture.
Why This Matters to You
There are a lot of websites out there using AI to crank out 50 articles a week just to chase search rankings. But here’s the twist—most note buying companies don’t blog at all. That’s what makes me different. I’m not doing this just to rank—I’m doing it to connect. Blogging is my way of starting real conversations with real people, one helpful article at a time.
I believe when you come to this site, you deserve:
- Straight answers to your note-related questions
- Clear education that helps you make better decisions
- No pressure to opt-in or call (until you’re ready)
That’s the trust I want to build.
And yes, it may take me more time to write these posts. But every minute I spend crafting them is a reminder of how much I care about this work. I genuinely love helping note holders—listening to your stories, solving real problems, and building real connections. That’s what brings me joy. My hope is that every post gives you something of value, makes you feel welcome here, and keeps you coming back—not because you have to, but because you want to. And when the time feels right, I’ll be here to talk one-on-one through a Free 30-Minute Zoom Call.
What Do You Think?
Have you ever read an article and felt like it was written by a robot? How did it make you feel?
Or on the flip side, have you ever found a blog that just “got you” and made things finally make sense?
I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
Thanks for stopping by today. And if you ever have a question about a real estate note, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help.
